Hunter Dycus holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a temporary license as an MFT in Tennessee. Hunter has a passion for walking with people through difficult struggles with compassion and understanding. He believes that we all are created to need supportive relationships and connection. Without safe and connected relationships, challenges in life feel even more difficult and hard to navigate. Hunter strives to be a model of safe and connected relationships with his clients and couples.
Trained and experienced in working with attachment issues, Hunter works with adolescents, individuals, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, boundary issues, family relationship issues, and more. He has years of experience working with teens in different settings and loves working with families. Hunter is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and has been certified in Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS. Additionally, he is experienced using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples who are striving to grow their relationships into healthier places.
Hunter and his wife have a young son and a dog. They love the outdoors, football, and great food.
