Marci Weaver holds a masters of social work from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee. Throughout her 13 years of experience, she has worked in the fields of foster care and adoption, addiction and recovery, and outpatient counseling. Marci desires to "undo aloneness" and help her clients  recognize their inherent worth. She has experience treating clients of all ages; and her primary areas of expertise include treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, codependency, grief, loss and trauma.

Marci is trained in EMDR, which is most commonly used to treat trauma or other ongoing issues that do not respond to traditional therapy methods. She also has a special interest in using experiential therapy techniques such as trauma sensitive yoga and expressive arts. 


Marci and her husband, Glenn, have two dogs, Jax and Frankfurter ("Furt") and they recently moved to Chattanooga, TN.  She is primarily offering Teletherapy sessions, serving clients throughout the state of Tennessee. During her free time, she loves to travel, bake, collect indoor plants, and spend time in nature.
